Privacy policy

CloseWise collects only what it needs to answer your request and to understand how this site is used: the details you send through the contact form, cookieless visit statistics, and Google Analytics cookies where you allow them.

Who is responsible for your data

This website is operated by Startup Law Consultancy, Inc, which provides the CloseWise service and is a Clemta company. For any privacy question or request, write to hello@useclosewise.com.

What we collect and why

  • Contact form. Your name, email address, company, formation state and message, so we can reply and prepare a checklist and quote. The form is delivered to our inbox by Resend, our email delivery provider.
  • Visit statistics without cookies. Vercel Web Analytics and Speed Insights count page views, referring sites, country, device type and page speed. They set no cookies and do not identify you.
  • Google Analytics. Pages viewed, how you reached the site, approximate location, device and browser, so we can see which content helps visitors. Google Analytics 4 does not log or store IP addresses.
  • Hosting. Vercel hosts this site and processes standard request data, such as your IP address, to deliver pages and protect the service.

Cookies and your choice

Google Analytics uses the cookies below. For visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, Switzerland and Turkey they are set only after you click Accept in the cookie banner. Elsewhere they are on unless you click Decline. You can change your choice at any time with the Cookie settings link at the bottom of every page.

Who receives your data

We share data only with the providers named above: Resend for email delivery, Vercel for hosting and visit statistics, and Google for Google Analytics. These providers may process data in the United States. We do not sell personal data.

How long we keep it

We keep contact form messages as long as we need them to answer your request and to keep normal business records. Google Analytics keeps visit data for the retention period set in our Google Analytics account, after which it is deleted.

Your rights

You can ask us to show, correct or delete the personal data we hold about you, and you can withdraw your consent to analytics cookies at any time through Cookie settings. Visitors in the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom have these rights under the GDPR, including the right to complain to their data protection authority. Visitors in Turkey have them under the Personal Data Protection Law (KVKK). Send any request to hello@useclosewise.com.

When this policy changes, we update the date at the top of this page.
